South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology

The South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology is located in Bozen’s old town and displays the world-famous glacier mummy "Ötzi". It tells his story as well as the way of life of people over 5,000 years ago. Alongside the mummy, you will learn interesting facts about archaeology, artifacts from the Bronze and Stone Ages, and the regional history of the inhabitants of the Alps.
