Bletterbach Gorge

The Bletterbach Gorge in the South Tyrol Geoparc is an impressive canyon, natural monument, and activity park all in one. An approximately 8 km hike offers insight into the Earth's history: layer by layer, the exposed rocks reveal the evolution of climate, environment, and life over the past 250 million years. Fossils, dinosaur tracks, and well-preserved plant imprints make the gorge a unique educational and nature experience.
