Novacella Abbey

Novacella Abbey in Vahrn near Brixen is the largest monastery complex in South Tyrol and was founded in the 12th century. The magnificent Baroque and Gothic architecture, the abbey church with its frescoes, the library, and the monastery courtyard make a visit a truly special experience. To this day, the abbey remains an active religious center, offering insights into history, culture, and spirituality.
