Head into Eggental Valley and on to Obereggen, taking the Oberholz lift to comfortably reach the top. From there, hike up via Gamsstallscharte notch and through the upper Valsorda basin until you reach Rotlahnscharte.
This is where the via ferrata starts, traversing across to the Große Latemarscharte (some sections require scrambling without steel cables). From the notch, make a brief, steep descent and follow the marked trail to the junction below Rotlahnscharte. Finally, retrace your steps along the original ascent route back to the starting point.
Climbing time: approx. 2 hours
Elevation gain: 160 m
Difficulty level: easy, but long
