Maximilian Via Ferrata

From Berghotel Piné, hike through the Tschamin Valley (Val Ciamin) and the Bärenloch (Buco dell'Orso) in about 3.5 hours to the Tierser Alpl refuge (Rifugio Alpe di Tires). The via ferrata begins above the mountain hut and leads over the Großer Rosszahn (Denti di Terra Rossa) to the Roterdspitze (Cima di Terrarossa). After exiting the route, you can return to the Tierser Alpl refuge via the Roterdscharte notch, or take the descent via the Schlernhaus refuge and the Bärenfalle gorge back to the hotel. Taking the route via Schlernhaus will take about another 4 hours from the end of the via ferrata back to the hotel.
