Rotwand Via Ferrata

From Berghotel Piné, take the car or bus to the valley station of the Paolina chairlift, which brings you comfortably to the top. The trail leads towards the Vajolon Pass (Passo del Vajolon) and reaches the start of the Rotwand via ferrata after about 1.5 hours. The route is well secured, and the summit is easily reachable. On the other side, secured steel cables lead down to the Rotwand refuge (Rifugio Roda di Vaèl). From there, it takes about 30 minutes to get back to the Paolina refuge. If you wish, this via ferrata can also be combined with the Masaré via ferrata.
